Editor's Note

Standing at the front edge of history can be quite disconcerting. January 2001, feels such a point in time. Last year with tremendous enthusiasm the much-heralded Chapter was formed and now another milestone, our first newsletter. Could this lead to something great or will it teeter and fall? One way or another, there is momentousness in the air.

The mission of the newsletter is to keep all IIT KGP-AASC members and their families involved, just like Alankar was to us at KGP. The newsletter would be interactive with its readers; many of them children and spouses and we expect to have a constant communication throughout its columns.

We hope that the first issue would meet some of your expectations, if any and would urge you, to take this opportunity to express yourself by contributing in some way to the maintenance and improvement of this newsletter. This is your newsletter, so embrace it.

Note From The Editorial Team.

The newsletter is expected to be published once every quater. The next issues will be out in April, July and October. The three of us compiled the first issue, we hope you liked it. However to sustain the tempo and improve the quality of the newsletter, we need your expertise in the following roles:
